The surface tension of an aqueous solution of the test substance at 20 °C by the Wilhelmy plate method lies between 61.1 - 69.0 mN/m at a concentration of 1 g/L and between 38.9 - 43.1 mN/m at a concentration of 10 g/L.

In a GLP compliant study, performed according to EC method A.5, the surface tension of the test substance was determined using the Wilhelmy plate method (Ciba-Geigy 1990). The surface tension of an aqueous solution of the test substance at 20°C lies between 61.1 - 69.0 mN/m at a concentration of 1 g/L and between 38.9 - 43.1 mN/m at a concentration of 10 g/L.
