Freshwater:

From the database of chronic nickel toxicity to freshwater plants, individual NOEC/L(E)C10values reported for higher plant species. NOEC/L(E)C10values range from6.11to 75 μg/L forLemna minor(Gopalapillai et al., 2013; Schlekatet al., 2010) and 50 to 80 μg/L forLemna gibba(Klaine and Knuteson, 2003) for a final range of6.11to 80 μg/L for the higher plantsLemna gibbaandLemna minor.

 

The following table indicates those NOEC or EC10 values of high quality that have been carried forward for the HC5-& PNEC derivation
