Additional information

Supporting information, reiterating the justification of the adaptation of the data requirements was available in the form of the information presented in WITCO (2000), a MSDS. The information was presented as a short abstract only and as such was assigned a reliability score of 4 in accordance with the criteria for assigning data quality in line with the principles described by Klimisch (1997). The test substance was reported to decompose at around 230 °C. This is further supported by the information submitted to fulfil the melting point endpoint. The test substance was shown to melt with decomposition in a GLP compliant study performed in accordance with standardised guidelines.
