Description of key information

The test substance is a clear to pale yellow liquid with a relative density of 0.95, a freezing point of -53°C and a boiling point of 263°C. Its vapour pressure was determined to be 12 Pa at 25°C. The test substance is miscible in water (>570g/l) and was found to be miscible with all proportions of Standard Fat HB 307 at 37°C.

The flash-point of the substance has been determined to be 118.5°Cat an atmospheric pressure of 995 mmHg. The substance has neither explosive nor oxidising properties and is not flammable and has a self ignition temperature of 226°C at 102.6 kPa
