Description of key information

The relative density of the test substance was determined to be 0.95 at 20°C based on two studies in a weight of evidence approach.

A density of 0.9428 ± 0.0003 g/mL at 23.5°C was determined according to the OECD guideline 109 by BC Research Inc. (2003). GLP deviations were that a study plan was not written, however study-specific supplements were provided to study personnel describing laboratory work in detail. The study was considered to be reliable without restrictions (Klimisch 1).

A second study performed according to the pycnometer method as described in ISO Recommendation R1183, in accordance with EEC Directive 67/548, Annex V, A3, as published in 84/449/EEC, by Huntingdon Research Centre Ltd. (1990) and considered reliable without restrictions (Klimisch 1) reports a relative density of 0.9544 at 20°C.
