Description of key information

Short-term toxicity to fish: Weight of evidence. One study performed according to OECD 203 (GLP study), without detailed documentation, reports the 96h-EC50 of the test item in freshwater fish as 11 mg/L. Another study performed according to Japanese national standard methods, similar to OECD 203 (non-GLP), reports the 48h-EC50 of the test item in fish as 6.0 mg/L. According to OECD 203, 96 hour exposure is the preferred data.

Based on the available data, the 96h-EC50 for freswhater fish is 11 mg/L.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates: An acute toxicity test was conducted with Daphnia magna according to the OECD guideline 202 under GLP conditions. The 48 hours EC50 was 35mg/L with the test item.

Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria: A growth inhibition test was conducted according to the OECD guideline 201 under GLP conditions. Based on the growth rate the 72h-EC50 was 12 mg/L and the 72h-NOAEC was 2.1 mg/L for the test item.
