Additional information

Palmer (2008) is a GLP-compliant, 96-hour semi-static toxicity test on fish following OECD guideline 203. Fathead minnows (Pimephales promelas) were exposed for 96 hours in a closed bottle, static renewal system to six mean measured concentrations of 1-propanethiol ranging from 0.31 to 7.7 mg/L. The 96-hour LC50 value was 1.3 mg/L, with a confidence interval of 0.76 to 2.1 mg/L. The no-mortality concentration and the NOEC were both 0.76 mg/L. The study is considered reliable and suitable for use for this endpoint.
