Description of key information

72.2 ± 0.1 mN m^-1, at 24 m g/L, 22 °C, OECD 115 (Reimer, 2004)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
72.2
in mN/m at 20°C and concentration in mg/L:
24

Additional information

The surface tension of the test substance at a concentration of 24 mg/L and a temperature of 22 °C was determined to be 72.2 ± 0.1 mN m^-1 using a procedure based on those described in OECD Guideline 115 (platinum ring method).

This surface tension value indicates the test substance is not sufficient to be considered as a surfactant.
