Additional information

The pour point of the registered substance was determined in accordance with ASTM Testing Guideline D97-09. The sample was heated and then cooled at a specified rate. Flow characteristics of the sample were examined at intervals of 3°C. The recorded pour point was the lowest temperature at which movement of the sample was observed, with 3°C added to the value. The pour point of the substance was found to be -36°C.

In addition, a study was conducted in accordance with ASTM Testing Guideline D97-09 to determine the pour point of the read-across substance Gas oil (polymer derived) thermal-cracked, full range, from which the registered substance is derived via steam stripping, and which is compositionally similar to the registered substance. The read-across substance was found to have a pour point of -42°C.
