The American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists(ACGIH) is a professional association of industrial hygienists and practitioners of related professions. One of the goals of the association is to provide information and guideline on exposure limits of substances in order to advance worker protection and to this purpose, the scientific literature on substances are revised.
Two carcinogenicity studies were discussed under ACGIH sheet.
As reported by the reference, since neither of these two studies was conducted according to standard protocols for carcinogen testing, the limited data, although negative, do not permit the assignment of a cancer notation.
Therefore, the results are here reported for informational purpose only and they were not taken into account to define the carcinogenic potential of the substance.
