Method: The pH-measurement method used bases on the standard method SFS 3021.
pH-Instrument calibration: The instrument was calibrated by using two commercial pH standards, pH 7 and pH 10
Sample preparation, 25 weight % water solution:
On request of the customer, 25 weight-% water solution was used in pH measurements. Ca. 5 g of SEX sample was dissolved in 20 ml of
milli-Q water. This concentration was chosen based on the maximum concentration of the substance in use application.
pH-Measurements: From the sample solution, measurements were done (magnetic stirring during measurements). Measurement temperature was 20-21 °C.
