Description of key information

No risk for soil organisms is expected due to the ready biodegradability, low bioaccumulation and rapid soil half-life (i.e., 30 days) of amides, C16-18 (even-numbered) and C18-unsatd., N,N-bis(hydroxyethyl). Hence, information on effects on soil organisms is not required. Nevertheless, the equilibrium partitioning method can be used to assess the hazard for soil organisms.
