Additional information

A single study on the toxicity of the test item in Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata is available. The study was conducted under GLP regulations in 2007 by NOTOX and was performed according to OECD guideline 201. The maximum observed inhibitory effect on the growth rate was 22.7% at the highest tested concentration which was 79 mg/L based on initially measured test item concentrations. By statistical interpolation the ErC50 was calculated to be 570 mg/L indicating that the test substance is probably not acutely harmful to algae.
