Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The organic components are considered to be biodegradable, but titanium dioxide is inorganic and the end point does not apply

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable but failing 10-day window

Additional information

Assessment report reviewing data for organic degradation products:

Tiisoproanolamine - significantly biodegradable (failing 10 day window)

Propylene glycol - readily biodegradable

Lactic acid - readily biodegradable

However, data from the original NONS work suggests a low rate of biodegradaqtion (ca 20% 28 days) but there is insufficient data to assess fully. This study appears not to be valid.
