Adsorption / Desorption :

Soil Adsorption Coefficient i.e Koc value of difluoroacetic acid was estimated as 2.252 by means of MCI method ( EPI suite ). This value when calculated at 20 deg C works out to be 1.8016.This indicates that difluoroacetic acid has low sorption to soil and sediment and moderate migration potential to groundwater.

Henry's Law Constant :

Henry's Law states that at a constant temperature, the amount of a given gas that dissolves in a given type and volume of liquid is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas in equilibrium with that liquid. Henry's Law Constant of difluoroacetic acid at 25 deg C is 0.22 Pa m³/mol.
