As per the Annex VII column 2 of REACH regulation, the available information indicates that the substance difluoroacetic acid is a strong acid (pH ≤ 2.0).Thus testing for skin sensitisation is not likely. Hence this endpoint was considered for waiver

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance, difluoroacetic acid, do not have any sensitization effects on animals and thus based on the C&L regulation it can be concluded that the substance will not qualify for sensitization.
