Specific details on test material used for the study:
Details on properties of test surrogate or analogue material (migrated information):
Analysis of DCA residues was performed by ion chromatography
All samples were stored in the dark at 41C prior to analysis. Calibration was performed through the use of four external standard solutions, plus a quality control standard, and linear regression analysis. Standards and quality control samples were made up in field water obtained from a control microcosm.

Validity criteria fulfilled:
not specified
Conclusions:
The Nominal concentration of Dichloro acetic acid were 0, 10, 30 & 100 mg/L on Myriophyllum spicatum, M. sibiricum, and Lemna gibba. On which the NOEC & LOEC value was found to be on M. spicatum at Day 14 NOEC was 30 & LOEC 100mg/L., for M. sibiricum day 14 the NOEC 10 & LOEC on 30 mg/L and for L. gibba the NOEC on 14 days at 30 mg/L & LOEC was found to be at 100 mg/Lon Frond number.
Executive summary:

The Nominal concentration of Dichloro acetic acid were 0, 10, 30 & 100 mg/L on Myriophyllum spicatum, M. sibiricum, and Lemna gibba. On which the NOEC & LOEC value was found to be on M. spicatum at Day 14 NOEC was 30 & LOEC 100mg/L., for M. sibiricum day 14 the NOEC 10 & LOEC on 30 mg/L and for L. gibba the NOEC on 14 days at 30 mg/L & LOEC was found to be at 100 mg/Lon Frond number.
