Description of key information

The estimated soil adsorption coefficient (Koc) of difluoroacetic acid was found to be 2.252. This value when calculated at 20 deg C works out to be 1.8016.

Soil Adsorption Coefficient i.e Koc value of difluoroacetic acid was estimated as 2.252 by means of MCI method ( EPI suite ). This indicates that difluoroacetic acid shows negligible sorption to soil and sediment and rapid migration potential to groundwater. This value when calculated at 20 deg C was found to be 1.8016.
