180 °C

Additional information

A GLP study was conducted (BASF SE, SIK-Nr. 14/0912) to determine the auto flammability temperature of the test item according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, Annex A.15. The auto-ignition temperature of the test item was determined in three in depended experiments. The results were corrected according to EN 14522 to atmospheric standard conditions. The auto-ignition temperature was determined to be 180 °C at 1013.25 hPa.

A non GLP study was conducted (BASF AG 1969, A591) to determine the auto flammability temperature of the substances. The auto-ignition temperature was determined to be 170 °C at 1013.25 hPa. In addition the GESTIS database reports the auto-ignition temperature to be 170 °C.

In conclusion, all available data shows comparable results for the auto-ignition temperature of the test item. The result of the GLP study was regarded as most reliable and was therefore chosen as key value for chemical safety assessment.
