Description of key information

In this study, laboratory derived values were determined by stripping a known concentration of ethylbenzene from solution at a predetermined gas flow rate. The Henry's law constant was determined by measuring (UV spectrophotometer) the concentration of EB in solution. The results indicate Henry's Law Constant: 8.43E-3 atm*m3/mol (25 deg C) (= 854.17 Pa*m3/mol).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
854.17
at the temperature of:
20 °C
