Description of key information

The test substance was demonstrated to have an experimentally determined Log koc of 2.16 suggesting a low potential for adsorption to sediment and soil. QSAR estimation using the KOCWIN v2.00 of the EPISUITE 4.0 indicate that the Koc of 2,3 epoxypropyl neodecanoate is 1595 L/kgwwt. An experimentally determined Log Koc was determined for the test substance by an O.E.C.D. test guideline no. 121 HPLC method.

Additional information

When using the worst case HPLC Kow (4.4) as the key study value for EPISUITE KOCWIN v2.00, the model yields a Log Koc of 2.404 with the MCI method and 3.203 using the Kow method. The experimentally determined Log Koc for 2,3 -epoxypropyl neodecanoate was 2.16 suggesting that the test substance has low potential to adsorp to sediment and soil.
