Description of key information

In water, no indirect photolysis with OH radicals is detectable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Lee et al (1998) performed a test on indirect photolysis of thiodiglycol in water with OH radicals similar to EPA guideline 600/3-82-002. After 14 days of irradiation with sunlight, they measured a recovery rate of nearly 100% of the test compound indicating that indirect photolysis is not an important fate path of thiodiglycol in the environment.
