Weight of Evidence approach

A weight of evidence approach for the endpoint flash point was conducted as tests with various national testing standards are available.

The following results were obtained SIK Nr. 02/0561

DIN 51 755: No flashpoint determinable up to 65°C

DIN EN22719: No flashpoint determinable up to 25°C, ignition flame ceases

DIN ISO 2592: No flashpoint determinable up to 84°C, ignition flame ceases

Results from SIK 85/0339:

DIN 51755: not determinable up to 65 °C;

DIN 51758: not determinable, the igniting flame ceases at temp. >= 62 °C;

DIN ISO 2592: not determinable, the igniting flame ceases at temp. >= 86 °C

Conclusion

A flashpoint for the test substance was not determinable up to >=86°C.
