Conclusion on classification

Classification, Labeling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008

The available experimental test data on read-across substances are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.

The standard short-term fresh water tests do not indicate harmful effects ( L(E)C50 values > 100 mg/L). One short-term result with a marine invertebrate species indicates acute toxicity of < 100 mg/L. Following GHS, the substance is not to be classified as hazardous to the aquatic environment since the substance is readily biodegradable and the log Pow is < 4 (no experimentally determined BCF). The NOEC values for chronic toxicity are > 1 mg/L.

As a result the substance is not classified as aquatic chronic and aquatic acute under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, as amended for the tenth time in Regulation (EU) No 2017/776.
