Description of key information

The acute toxicity of the test substance on Daphnia magna was evaluated in a static test over a period of 48 hours (Hüls AG 1993) according to EU method C.2.
Seven concentrations ranging from 39.5 to 316.0 mg/L (nominal) were tested. The stock solution (1 g/L) was stirred for 18 hours and filtrated. Partial hydrolysis during the preparation of test solution and during the performance of the test has to be considered.

The EC50 (48 h) was determined as 64 mg/L (95% CL: 48.7 - 84.1%)
