Description of key information

The vapour pressure of 2,2,4(or 2,4,4)-trimethylhexane-1,6-diamine was measured at temperatures between 23 and 230 °C leading to a regular vapour pressure curve. A value of 0.041 hPa at 20 °C was obtained by least squares-fit of a Clausius Clapeyron curve and extrapolation. Considering the minor non-linearity of the vapour pressure curve, the value at 20 °C should be identified as ca. 0.04 hPa.
