First-aid measures
GENERAL ADVICE
Take off immediately all contaminated clothing (including shoes).
INHALATION
Move to fresh air.
Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed.
Keep under medical surveillance.
In case of problems : hospitalize.
SKIN CONTACT
Wash immediately and abundantly and thoroughly with water
Consult quickly a doctor.
In case of extensive burns, hospitalize.
EYE CONTACT
Wash well-open eyes immediately, abundantly and thoroughly for at least 15 minutes
Consult an ophtalmologist quickly.
INGESTION
Do not induce vomiting, rinse mouth and lips with plenty of water if the subject is conscious,
then hospitalize.
PROTECTION OF FIRST-AIDERS
Wea rsuitable respiratory equipment.
Fire-fighting measures
SUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Water spray, dry powder, special foam for polar solvents.
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA WHICH ARE NOT SUITABLE
High volume water jet
SPECIFIC HAZARDS
Thermal decomposition into organic vapours forming explosive mixtures with air.
Hazards of over pressurization in containers or barrels exposed to heat : explosion risk.
Thermal decomposition giving flammable and toxic products : SOx, NOx, COx, HCN, H2S.
SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit.
Accidental release measures
PERSONAL PROTECTION
In case of leak, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus.
Complete suit protecting against chemicals.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of vapours.
