GENERAL INFORMATION
First aider: Pay attention to self-protection!
When in doubt or if symptoms are observed, get medical advice.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person or a person with cramps.
Immediately remove any contaminated clothing, shoes or stockings.
If unconscious place in recovery position and seek medical advice.
INHALATION:
Remove casualty to fresh air and keep warm and at rest.
If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration.
SKIN CONTACT:
After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.
Do not wash with: Solvents/Thinner
Immediately remove any contaminated clothing, shoes or stockings.
In case of skin irritation, consult a physician.
EYE CONTACT:
Seek medical advice immediately. In case of contact with eyes flush immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart and consult an ophthalmologist.
Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do.
Continue rinsing.
INGESTION:
Seek medical advice immediately.
Rinse mouth.
Put victim at rest, cover with a blanket and keep warm.
Do NOT induce vomiting.
- MOST IMPORTANT SYMPTOMS AND EFFECTS, BOTH ACUTE AND DELAYED
Blood pressure drop
INDICATION OF ANY IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION AND SPECIAL TREATMENT NEEDED
Treat symptomatically. Antidotal dispensation with 4-dimethylaminophenol.
After ingestion: Gastric lavage after giving liquid paraffin with added animal charcoal.
Fire-fighting measures
SUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
Dry extinguishing powder, dry sand
UNSUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
High power water jet, water mist, alcohol resistant foam, carbon dioxide (CO2)
SPECIAL HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE SUBSTANCE OR MIXTURE
In case of fire the formation of dangerous/toxic combustion vapours is possible.
Formation of explosive dust/air mixtures possible.
Explosvie decomposition of the product during heating / contact with fire possible.
Hazardous decomposition products: Nitrogen oxides (NOx), azides.
ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS:
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and chemical protective clothing.
Danger of serious damage to health by prolonged exposure
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Heating causes rise in pressure with risk of bursting.
Use water spray jet to protect personnel and to cool endangered containers.
Use as few water as possible.
Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately.
Do not allow entering drains or surface water.
Accidental release measures
PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES:Keep away from sources of ignition. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes.
Avoid dust formation.
Do not breathe dust.
Wear personal protection equipment.
Immediately remove any contaminated clothing, shoes or stockings.
Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Provide adequate ventilation.
Keep away from unprotected persons.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains. If necessary, inform the competent authorities.
METHODS AND MATERIAL FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING UP:
Avoid dust formation. Take up mechanically (by sweeping/ by vacuum cleaning with an approved industrial vacuum cleaner), placing in appropriate containers for disposal.
Do not sweep, if static charge may occur. In that case, keep product moist with as few water as possible. Dispose of waste according to applicable legislation. Clean area thoroughly afterwards
REFERENCE TO OTHER SECTIONS

Handling and storage
ADVICE ON SAFE HANDLING:
Transfer and handle product in closed systems, if possible. Provide good ventilation in storage and work areas.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Avoid dust formation. Do not breathe dust. Wear personal protection equipment. Immediately remove any contaminated clothing, shoes or stockings. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Keep away from unprotected persons. When using do not eat, drink or smoke..
ADVICE ON PROTECTION AGAINST FIRE AND EXPLOSION
Usual measures for fire prevention.
Keep away from sources of ignition. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Provide grounding of containers, equipment, pumps and ventilation facilities.
FURTHER INFORMATION ON HANDLING
Always close containers tightly after the removal of product. Never use pressure to empty container. Keep/Store only in original container. Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.
CONDITIONS FOR SAFE STORAGE, INCLUDING ANY INCOMPATIBILITIES
Keep/Store only in original container. Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Protect from sunlight. Keep away from sources of ignition. Protect from humidity. Store in a place accessible by authorized persons only. Always close containers tightly after the removal of product.
Notice the directions for use on the label.
Storage temperature: 10 - 30 °C.
ADVICE ON STORAGE COMPATIBILITY
Do not store together with acids, strong oxidising agents.

EXPOSURE CONTROL
- Appropriate engineering controls
Transfer and handle product in closed systems, if possible. Provide adequate ventilation. If handled uncovered, arrangements with local exhaust ventilation should be used if possible. If technical exhaust or ventilation measures are not possible or insufficient, respiratory protection must be worn.
- Protective and hygiene measures
Avoid contact with the substance. Immediately remove any contaminated clothing, shoes or stockings. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Provide eye and emergency safety showers. Wash hands before breaks and after work. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
- Eye/face protection
Wear eye/face protection.
- Hand protection
Wear suitable gloves. Replace when worn. The quality of the protective gloves resistant to chemicals must be chosen as a function of the specific working place concentration and quantity of hazardous substances.
For special purposes, it is recommended to check the resistance to chemicals of the protective gloves mentioned above together with the supplier of these gloves. See information supplied by the manufacturer.
Suitable material: Nitrile rubber
Use protective skin cream before handling the product.
- Skin protection
Wear suitable protective clothing. Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work.
- Respiratory protection
If occupational exposure limits are exceeded, respiratory protection is necessary.
Use suitable breathing apparatus (full mask or mouthpiece) with ABEK-P2/P3 filter.
- Environmental exposure controls:
Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains.
Stability and reactivity
1. Reactivity
Refer to "Possibility of hazardous reactions"
2. Chemical stability
The substance is chemically stable under recommended conditions of storage, use and temperature.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions
Contact with acids liberates very toxic gas. Contact with acids liberates explosive gases.
A danger of dust explosion may generally be assumed for dusty organic products.
Heating causes rise in pressure with risk of bursting.
4. Conditions to avoid
Intense heating. Avoid dust formation. Protect from moisture.
5. Incompatible materials
Heavy metals, carbon disulfide, hydrogen halide, water, nitrites
6. Hazardous decomposition products
In case of fire may be liberated: Nitrogen oxides (NOx), azides.
